Beach Plum Handspun Yarn (2oz)

$38.00

2.2 oz hand dyed 2 ply handspun yarn. Approximately 66 yds. 70% Coopworth & 30% Mohair medium weight yarn. Coopworth sheep are a duel purpose, longwool breed originally from New Zealand. Mohair comes from the Angora Goat and adds sheen to the yarn, takes up dye beautifully and makes a strong yarn. Suitable for outer garments, blankets, weaving, knitting, crocheting and rug hooking.

The photo of fiber, bobbins and yarn shows the process creating a 2 ply skein of yarn from dyed roving. I’ve done my best to photograph accurately, but colors may vary depending on your monitor. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
